Fees and Insurance
Self-Pay Patients
We offer a flat self-pay rate of $150 per visit, which includes all acupuncture-related services. There are no hidden or add-on fees. Each visit lasts at least one hour. Each acupuncture session may include cupping, tui na (Chinese medical massage), moxa, and other treatments, as appropriate for each patient.
No Pressure Consultations
We believe you should make informed decisions about your healthcare in a comfortable, pressure-free environment. A consultation with Dr. Wang is an opportunity to ask questions, discuss your condition, and determine whether acupuncture is right for you.
If we cannot help you, there is no charge for the consultation.
Consultation fee: $75 (no other services provided). If you decide to proceed with treatment, the consultation fee is waived for self-pay patients.
Herbal Consultations
$75 plus the cost of herbs.
Cancellation and No-Show Fees
Due to limited openings, we charge $75 for all appointments missed, cancelled, or rescheduled without a 24-hour notice. We are unable to make exceptions to this fee. Insured patients are charged out-of-pocket for this fee.
Prepaid Acupuncture Packages
Self-pay patients can buy a package of 6 treatments for $810, saving $90 off individual session pricing.
Referral Discounts
Referred patients receive $25 off their first visit.
Patients who refer new patients receive a $25 credit on their accounts that may be used for any service or product.
Insured Patients
Acupuncture, tui na, cupping, moxa, office exams, case management, and other services are billed at in-network rates to the insurance providers with whom we are contracted. Patients are responsible for the deductible, copay, and coinsurance. Contracted rates, copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and the number of covered visits vary between insurance providers. If we are contracted with your provider and a service is denied, you will be charged at the allowed rate. If acupuncture is not covered or excluded by your insurance provider, you will be charged at the self-pay rate. Some insurance providers exclude specific diagnoses from coverage; in this event, you will be charged at the self-pay rate even if we are in-network with your insurance provider.

VA Community Care (preauthorization required). VA preauthorized patients are not responsible for any payment for covered visits.

If you would like us to check if you have insurance benefits at our clinic, please complete the verify benefits request form.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If you have benefits but our clinic is out-of-network, we will charge you our self-pay rate and provide the necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
Workers’ Compensation, Accident, and Auto-Injury Claims
We bill workers’ comp., accident, and auto claims on your behalf with verified preauthorization.
Medicare
We are out-of-network and cannot submit to Medicare. You will have to visit an in-network Medicare provider to use your benefits. We can bill secondary and supplemental policies only if they allow for payment processing without a Medicare denial. Wang Medical cannot obtain Medicare denials because we are out-of-network and cannot submit claims to Medicare.
Massage Therapy fees are based on active treatment time. We do not charge for prep and transition time.
Single Session Massage Therapy Rates
$45 for 30 minutes.
$80 for 60 minutes.
$110 for 90 minutes.
60-Minute Prepaid Massage Packages
3 Sessions $210 ($70 per session)
6 Sessions $390 ($65 per session)
12 Sessions $720 ($60 per session)
90-Minute Prepaid Massage Packages
3 Sessions $285 ($95 per session)
6 Sessions $540 ($90 per session)
Massage benefits through insurance are subject to deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. Fees are billed in 15-minute increments based on the contracted rate.
